"Performance Measurements for Nonprofit Organizations”

To improve the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations, an executive must first determine its current performance. PMNO helps with this challenging task by demonstrating measurement and its impact on resource allocation, organizational learning, internal processes, and internal and external accountability. This session will equip volunteer leadership to assist us in quality disaster services.

Presented by Sung Kwon, Exec. Director, North American Division Adventist Community Services

"From Trauma to Transformation: Crisis, Faith and Resiliency"

Traumatic life experiences and losses have a profound impact both emotionally and spiritually. However, many victims will not experience long-term consequences. This workshop will utilize case presentations and video interviews with victims to illustrate the transformative power of God during
times of crisis. Attendees will learn practical techniques for helping individuals and families in dealing with trauma in both short-term crisis response and long-term counseling intervention.
