"Online Red Kettle"
In the past five years, the Online Red Kettle has grown from a novelty peer to peer fundraising application generating 130k in donations to an innovative and integral tool in The Salvation Army's year end giving. The Online Red Kettle has generated nearly 2 million dollars in each of the past two seasons. Join us for this informative session as we share best practices from around the country and prepare for the next generation of the Online Red Kettle coming in September. Some of the national and local efforts used to promote the ORK and engage constituents include winning a trip to the Thanksgiving Day Game hosted by the Dallas Cowboys. The chance to win a car just by donating $5 to a television station kettle. Join us as we discuss these and other tactics you can use to make the Online Red Kettle a successful fundraising event in your community.
