Advisory Board Retreat - Planning Questionnaire & Research and Development Strategy

This Planning Questionnaire was developed to solicit input during the one day retreat for the Hayward Corps Advisory Board located in the Western Territory. The Advisory Board ministry for this program year is Community Research & Development, positioning the Army appropriately with the needed signature programs and connecting with the community.

The purpose of the questionnare is to gather planning information to guide future development of community ministry in Hayward.  The questionnaire addresses the issue that major changes have taken place in our communities which need urgent review, strategy and focus for the future.  

The Community Research & Development strategy document lays out, in detail, statements of mission and measurement to help the advisory board to achieve the objective of R & D by identifying signature programs and connecting with our community. 

I.  MISSION - Confirm the Mission of your Advisory Board.  MEASUREMENT  - All Advisory Boards to test their current Advisory Board Mission against Responsibility. 

 II.  MARKET for Advisory Boards.  MEASUREMENT - Test results against realistic ‘market’ needs to bring clarity to ‘The Market’. This result could also include cooperation with another charity.

III.  MEDIUM – To challenge Advisory Board Ministry.  MEASUREMENT  - Test viability of ‘The Market’ against local priorities, the support needed and develop program model. 

IV.  MONEY – for Advisory Board to assist in fund-raising.  MEASUREMENT - Effective Signature Ministry Implemented.
